Was Caragavaggio LGBTQ?

Google wonders if you would like to know. Did he splash the colors of his paint like semen? Did he ever get the two confused? Burning white and dizzy smell and Did he worship at the altar of creation? Did he know the emptiness behind a lover's eyes? Did he feel the cold cavity of space where skin should be? Canvas like facsimile and Did he pour out passion where they could not douse it? Did he ignite a house to kill its contents? Did he kneel and feel the ground beneath him? Soiled, always newly sprouting and Did he make desire a ritual; agony a rite? Did he plead with God to be forgiven for the secrets of a night? Did he hurt his way to freedom and end up on the run? One too many memories like enemies and Did he burn his eyes trying to witness the sun? Did he know what he was running from? Did he dream of a masterpiece always out of reach? Did he watch the sky swallow darkness like a gaping hole? Leading lonely to a final deathly high and Did he long to leave green pastures for the city of the soul? Did he wonder if his progeny would be as damned as he? Besieged by the rage of history and Did he feed the appetites of beauty like his own? Did he treat the skin of strangers as a home? Google wonders if you would like to know

Was he like me?
